With temp around 20F and a light snow falling, it was a pleasant walk this afternoon. 

Usually, New Englanders don’t complain much about the cold.  It’s winter, after all, and you get used to it.  They also don’t complain much about the snow.

Looking down from the top of the pasture today, the farm had a real Currier and Ives look to it with smoke from the wood stove billowing out of the chimney.

Cold New Hampshire mornings and a little light snow falling are enough to put you in a holiday mood. Wishing everyone Happy Holidays!

Many were predicting that it would be a poor year for colorful foliage in New England because of the dry conditions this summer.
