I couldn’t drive by All Saints in Peterborough yesterday without stopping to admire the beautiful granite church all dressed up in its spring finery.  

More snow meant more tough going this morning for cars that weren't garaged overnight. But, hey! It's New Hampshire!

I pass this little outbuilding each day on my walk. And, with the graveyard of cut timber in front, it always feels like the shed is slowly sinking, being overtaken and consumed by the huge logs, the very source from which it came.

At this time of year, many New Englanders share a common purpose: Getting firewood stacked and under cover before the real winter weather hits.
