New Full Screen Button

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…with all the size and formatting restrictions of today’s Instagram, Threads can offer a better place to post your photos and videos. Today on Threads there was a lot of chatter about the upgrade to the UI that allows you to long press the “paper airplane” button to copy a URL. But, for me, the best new addition is the “full screen” button designed right now for ios (hopefully also coming for Android) which will rotate your horizontal photos or videos, allowing you to view them on your phone as they were meant to be seen. We do, after all, have two eyes placed horizontally on our head, not vertically.
